Venous insufficiency - Venoscreen plus
VenoScreen device for measuring venous insufficiency with an internal printer.
The VenoScreen Plus is a device used to evaluate the condition of the veins in particular the operation of the venous valves in a non-invasive and fast manner.
The technology used is that of reflected light reography (LRR light-reflection-rheography) which is based on the photo-plethysmography method.
A photometric sensor measures infrared light, transmitted through the skin on the leg. The reflected light provides information related to the volume of blood in that area of the skin.
The VenoScreen therefore measures the venous filling time (refilling time RT), all the data are represented in graphic and numerical form, simplifying and helping the diagnosis by the doctor.
In particular, the VenoScreen Plus is an intuitive, easy and ready to use device as it has a touch screen and an integrated thermal printer.
